Other Websites
shockingly, there are other websites on the internet that aren't all about me. I know. I'm sorry for informing you to this horrifying fact.
this page is my place to dump cool sites, both from neocities and beyond, that I love. Neocities sites often have a link/button that embeds them, kinda like a youtube thumnail but everything else will just be a link
neocities
tools
basically a site of all kinds of tools for pdfs, images and videos, stuff like converting file types, upscaling or compressing - now WITH THAT SAID there is some ai tools which i do oppose conceptually (and in practice) but the other stuff is still cool soooo idk ignore the slop ig
10015 is a website with all kinds of tools and stuff - idk if the number means anything but i do doubt they have over 10k tools so who knows - there is also some ai on this one but sadly every tools website seems to these days, they do all kinds of stuff not just css but i think their css tools are particularly cool, and if you're browsing neocities (i assume thats how you found me because if not how the hell did you get here) then you probably think so too
versus.com is basically a website that lets you compare absolutely everything, from tech like phones and graphics cards to... universities? its just cool for comparing tech imo and helping with deciding where i should reimburse my profits into the hellscape of capitalism!
im putting these together cause theyre basically the same thing - they're just collections of ui clip art - i like to draw my own icons for the sake of style, as you can see on this site, actually - but i use stuff like this as a base to go off of when making my own
ok i put these together too cause they're also basically the same - they're dnd content aiders, that can be used to design or generate stuff like maps, character bios and stuff - also i dont THINK they use gen ai cause stuff like this is simple enough, and neither mention it - but its the internet so they'll probably add it lets be honest
this one is kinda weird... but... basically supercook, you enter food you currently have and it shits out recipes that can be done entirely with what you have, which i think is neat
this one kinda spells it out in the name - you can learn shit, enter literally anything (to an extent, this one is handwritten stuff so it isnt endless) and it has a tutorial on it
website designed to make you better at typing, thats it
browser games
basically a flight simulator that runs in browser - its not really my thing but its really cool regardless
the ultimate doom from 1993, on internet archive, and because its so undemanding, its one of those IA exes that runs in browsers
its... classic minecraft - what it says on the tin
this website is a whole emulator of old ibm pcs, but this specific one is really cool imo, a very playable version of space invaders (unironically one of my favorite games of all time, age be damned)
messenger is an insanely cool modern browser game that could seriously be its own indie title - i wont say anything about what it is - go play it, the gameplay isnt amazing but the art direction and just... exploring is amazing
isleward is a browser mmo, and a really good one, i played this a shitton back in mah day - its basically ascii runescape
eaglercraft is a browser conversion of minecraft, circa 2014 or so, similar in content and updates to the console versions from the 7th gen
internet archive movies, shows, books and comics/manga
these are all just the above stated media, but on the internet archive for free - IA is a legal website but some of these are still copyrighted so they probably shouldnt be on there, so they might get taken down so sorry if any of these links dont work anymore
